Regional HR Business Partner Manager APAC
 

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and commercially-minded Regional HR Business Partner Manager to support our growing Commercial organization across Asia Pacific. This strategic HR role partners closely with business leaders to drive organizational performance, talent growth, workforce planning, and employee engagement while ensuring compliance with local labor regulations, particularly in Australia.

The successful candidate will have a strong generalist HR background with expertise across Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Total Rewards, Employee Relations, Organizational Design, and Change Management. This role will also support business expansion projects and organizational transformation initiatives across the region.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Commercial leadership teams across APAC.
  • Translate business objectives into effective people strategies.
  • Support organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Coach managers on leadership, performance management, and employee relations matters.

 

Talent Acquisition

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment strategies for commercial and corporate functions.
  • Partner with leaders to identify, attract, and retain top talent.
  • Drive employer branding and talent pipeline initiatives across key markets.

 

Talent Development

  • Identify capability gaps and develop targeted learning and development initiatives.
  • Drive talent reviews, succession planning, and high-potential programs.
  • Support leadership development and coaching initiatives.

 

Total Rewards

  • Partner with global and local stakeholders on compensation reviews and incentive programs.
  • Ensure market competitiveness and internal equity across APAC.
  • Provide recommendations on salary benchmarking and retention strategies.

 

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations issues and labor law compliance.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Australia employment legislation and HR practices.
  • Support investigations, disciplinary actions, performance management, and policy implementation.

 

Change Management & Business Expansion

  • Lead HR activities related to business expansion, market entry, restructuring, and organizational changes.
  • Support integration and transformation initiatives across the region.
  • Drive effective change management and communication plans.

 

HR Projects & Analytics & Admin

  • Analyze workforce metrics and provide actionable insights to business leaders.
  • Participate in regional and global HR projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience.
  • Manage full employee lifecycle in line with global/country processes.

 

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, including Regional HRBP responsibilities across APAC.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian labor laws and employment practices is essential.
  • Experience supporting Commercial, Sales, Marketing, and customer-facing functions.
  • Proven experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Total Rewards, and Organizational Development.
  • Experience supporting business expansion, transformation, and change initiatives.
  • Ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and multiple countries.
